Trashbin

Trashbin

Not a very special picture. Not even nice. But better than no post at all...!? My university studies and job keep me busy, so I couldn't take many photos recently. But with a smile, I look forward to my summer vacation. Take Off is in 90 days :)

Chris spent a lot of time with internships in Hong Kong. His Blog (German) is very informative. There are also links to several other related Blogs, including his new Blog (also German) about his upcoming 70-day travel through Southeast Asia.

In his Gallery, he has more than 1200 photos of Hong Kong, China and Macau.

Definitely worth visiting!

I like the idea of this picture, but it's disturbing there are so many trashbins in the park. Sorry I didn't move them out of the way before taking the shot ;-)

Today is Sebastian's birthday. Best wishes from me! hehe.

The Global Village Backpackers

The Global Village Backpackers Hostel, Toronto

During my time in Toronto, I stayed at the Global Village Backpackers (GVB). I don't regret my choice, as it is the best hostel I have been so far. Well, others are cleaner - but the GVB is original! It's a great place for everyone who enjoys party and loud music. They even have their own bar with a good selection of drinks. Not only backpackers, but also neat people from Toronto come here for the party nights. And every night, is a party night!

Toronto Skyline

No doubt: Toronto is probably one of the most fascinating cities I've ever been to. I could fill pages with reasons, but this town's multicultural mix of friendly people beats them all. It's a great feeling, being surrounded by people from all over the world. And most of them are easy-going, ready for a nice small talk about this and that. Oh yes, I really miss this town!

I visit some Toronto photobloggers regulary. For more impressions of this city, give them a try: Daily dose of imagery is my most favourite blog, followed by Ground Glass and Photojunkie.
